Raquel is a self-taught fashion designer, stylist, and creative director hailing from the picturesque island of Grenada.
In 2013, she launched her business Always Leid because she wanted to create a reputable brand renowned for encouraging individuality and non-conformity and self-expression through fashion.“Always Leid” is a play on her last name “Leid” (pronounced ‘lead’). The brand name within itself is a subtle, yet powerful reminder to our clients to unapologetically set trends and stand out.
Raquel functions as head of the Always Leid creative team directly overseeing the day to day operations of the business and creative direction.
In January 2018, Raquel began pursuing her formal fashion education at the University of the Arts London, focusing on the areas of Fashion Styling and Fashion Manufacturing.
