Keane Mark

Keane is a Quality Manufacturing Engineer at Portescap in St. Kitts, he has a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Engineering.

Origin: I am originally from Sendall St. Grenville but spent most of my life living in Hope St. Andrew’s. I currently reside in St. Kitts

Educational background: In Grenada, I attended the St. Andrew’s R.C. Primary School followed by the Presentation Brothers’ College then T.A.M.C.C. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2010 in Industrial Engineering at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education as part of a cohort of students who were awarded scholarships to Mexico. I completed graduate studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2015 with a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management after receiving a Fulbright Scholarship. 

Work experience: Upon completion of TAMCC I spent 3 years working first as a teacher at the Grenville Secondary School, then as a teller/loan clerk at the then National Commercial Bank before I left for studies. Upon completion of my first degree I worked as an Industrial Engineer at Kajola Kristada in St. Kitts. Then upon completion of my graduate degree I have worked as a Quality Manufacturing Engineer at Portescap in St. Kitts. Both companies in St. Kitts are light manufacturing facilities that make a variety of electronic products ranging from Traps and filters for telecommunications to miniature motors for surgical equipment.
