Mark T.D Joseph

Mark T. D. Joseph is a Lean Manager in AXA & a Statistical Quality Control Lecturer in Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He has extensive experience in Project Management, Lean Management, Total Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Agile Methodology & Situational Leadership. Also, Mark is fully bilingual in English & Spanish which enables him to communicate more effectively when working with International partners. The acquisition of his primary education was at the Calliste Government School and his secondary studies were done at the Grenada Boys’ Secondary School (GBSS). After GBSS, he was enrolled at the T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) to pursue an Associate Degree in Natural Science with a Specialty in Education. Once again, he was at his best. He attained a GPA of 3.0 and at the Cambridge Examination, he successfully passed Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics. Before embarking on a journey which channels to a wealth of knowledge, skills and valuable experience abroad, Mark was a Natural Science Lecturer (2002 – 2006) at the GBSS.

His expertise was in Advanced Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. During his 3.5 years’ tenure, he achieved an average success rate of 85% at the regional examinations (CXC). In 2006, he migrated oversees to pursue an undergraduate degree & developed himself on a personal & professional level. After years of hard work and dedication, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).

He graduated in 2010 with a B.I.S.E. (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering with a minor in System Engineering and in 2015 a M.E. (Hons.) in Engineering with a specialty in Quality Systems and Productivity. Presently, he works as a Senior Lean Manager/Project Leader at AXA where he contributes his diversified background knowledge and skills geared at re-engineering business models, reducing expenses and improving productivity in all business lines. He ensures company’s goals are met through high quality execution of strategic & tactical work plans (Strong KPI follow-up). He executes Change Management Methodology across the board in different business departments and fostering a problem-solving philosophy among managers (Driven by results). He also encourages Employee Engagement & Growth Mindset among team members (Strong commitment to company’s philosophy & priorities).
