In 2013,I applied to fashion school and got accepted,but life slapped me in the face with a massive dose of reality: I was not in a financial position to attend university.
I became depressed and began hosting a pity party for myself because in MY head, I had already planned out how my life would be. Sometimes,it is easy to become discouraged and lose focus of what is really important.
I have yet to attend design school and maybe I will one day.
However,I have not let that deter me. I am now focused on teaching myself as much as I can,honing my skills,marketing myself and inspiring others to unlock their potential and pursue their passion. If there is one thing I have learned it is that your dream job does not exist…YOU have to create it.
